Daxton’s new cocktail menu: Geode Bar & Lounge within the Daxton Hotel has a new drinks menu. The new cocktails are meant to pair well with a Thursday night live jazz series in the lounge. Look out for Bubble Birmingham with Beefeater Gin, St. Germain, Prosecco, Lemongrass, Pea Flower Tea, and simple syrup. New beers at Royal Oak Brewery: Head Brewery Jeremy Altier introduced three new beers at Royal Oak Brewery, the oldest brewery in Oakland County. Traverse City Whiskey Company launched Lakeside Beach: A new limited-edition spirit titled American Lakeside Peach Whiskey is available from Traverse City Whiskey Co. in seven states, including Michigan. Buddy’s grand opening raised $11,000: When Buddy’s Pizza opened its newest location in Clarkston last month, all opening-day sales were donated to Lighthouse MI, which aims to help the homeless and poor in Oakland County. Opening of Kura Sushi Restaurant in Novi: This summer, Michigan will get its second location at Kura Sushi. The Japanese restaurant is famous for its two-tier conveyor belt service system, and also has automated servers. The first location in Troy opened in early 2021.
