A free food giveaway is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at Harbor Beach City Hall, 766 State St. It’s the only food distribution planned in Huron County this week.

Food is distributed on a first-come-first-served basis. Supplies are limited. Giveaways are free and open to all. Volunteers are needed to help with food distribution and should arrive one hour before the scheduled start time.

Check the mobile pantry calendar for a complete list of pop-up pantry stores at www.fbem.org.

Organizers and civic groups have organized more than 220 food donations and distributed more than two million pounds of food since the pandemic began in March 2020.
