Performance Food Group Announces Finance Division Promotions

Richmond, Virginia – (work wire) – Performance Food Group (NYSE: PFGC) has announced promotions to four senior leaders in the company’s finance division. The following partners were promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President immediately: Jeff Fender, Senior Vice President and Treasurer; George Hearn, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Performance Foodservice; Liz Mountjoy, Senior Vice President of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions; and Chris VlasevichAnd the Senior Vice President, Finance and Head of Accounting (CAO).

Besides promotions, Mr. Fender and Mr. Hearn will swap roles. Mr. Fender will now serve as PFG’s Treasurer and Mr. Hearn will serve as CFO for Foodservice Performance.

  • Chris Vlasevich He is now Senior Vice President of Finance and Investigator – Counsellor. Ms. Vlahcevic started with PFG in 2015 as Vice President of Finance and Investigator-Advisor. It is responsible for external reporting, corporate taxation, master data management, and financial systems. It also drives the quality of revenue acquisition and due diligence coordination. Prior to joining PFG, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Comfort Zone Camp and was also the Senior Vice President and Financial Controller of LandAmerica Financial Group. Ms. Vlasevich received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Virginia.
  • Jeff Fender He is now Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Fender joined PFG in 2002 as a Treasurer and soon became Vice President of the company. He has been the CFO of Performance Food Services since 2019, serving as a business partner to ensure alignment, accelerate growth and drive financial results. During his time at PFG, Mr. Fender was instrumental in guiding the business through the transition from public to private and back to public markets. Prior to joining PFG, he held leadership positions in finance, taxation and accounting at Capital One, Circuit City and PwC. Mr. Fender holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University.
  • Lee’s Mountjoy He is now Senior Vice President of Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions. Ms. Mountjoy joined PFG in 2019 as Vice President in the field. It works through PFG to assess and plan for growth opportunities and related mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining PFG, she held the position of Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Altria along with the position of General Manager of the company’s digital and marketing services organization. She also spent 10 years in consulting, including with PwC, where she focused on leading clients through significant business transformations. Ms. Mountjoy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
  • George Hearn He is now Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Food Services Performance. Mr. Hearn has served as Vice President and Treasurer at PFG since joining the company in 2019 where he led treasury, shared services, corporate financial planning and analysis, and previously led corporate tax. He started his career with General Electric where he was the Divisional CFO and Principal Engineer in a branch of the business line, later becoming the CFO of this company. Mr. Hearn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the State University of New York – Albany and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University.
