Bacon-wrapped chicken breast is very easy to make. Just season the chicken with salt and pepper and wrap two strips of bacon around each piece. They cook in the air fryer for less than 15 minutes.

How long does it take to cook bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in an air fryer?

Cook the bacon-wrapped chicken in the air fryer at 380 degrees for six minutes on each side. Once the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees, raise the temperature to 400 and cook for 1 minute to brown the bacon.

Do chicken breasts need to rest after cooking?

Let the chicken rest for five minutes before slicing it. Resting the chicken prevents the juices from drying out, keeping the flavor all inside.

What to serve with bacon-wrapped chicken breasts

I love making a salad with this bacon-wrapped chicken. You can use mixed greens, spinach, or romaine and add your favorite toppings, such as avocado, tomatoes, leeks, and cucumbers, and cover them with a simple vinaigrette.

No air fryer? Not a problem

To make this in the oven, preheat the oven to 400°F.

Heat a large oven-safe or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Bacon-wrapped chicken breasts on sides for about 2 minutes per side, or until bacon is crisp, drain excess fat.

Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for 12 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 160 F. Remove from the oven, transfer to a cutting board, and leave covered with aluminum foil for 5 minutes before slicing.
