If you’re the type of person who’s thinking about buying peanut butter in the fourth aisle or simply can’t decide on the best snack foods or staples, People Magazine has a fresh list of the supermarket’s hottest products to spark some inspiration.
The magazine’s annual Food Awards tapped more than 150 taste testers from 32 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, to eat, drink, and cook and evaluate nearly 1,300 new ingredients, to identify the best of the best in the grocery store.

Dutt praised this as the at-home version of a restaurant that builds your own burrito bowl.
“It’s layers of cilantro, brown rice, stir-fried vegetables, fresh corn, black beans, and there’s even guacamole in there—you don’t have to pay more,” she said. “All you have to do is heat it up in the microwave for about a minute and then add the guacamole on top of it.”

“Vegan chicken has improved dramatically over the years,” she said, adding that this chicken has “a delicious crunchy layer on the outside and the inside is tender, juicy, and shockingly chicken-like.”
