Local buying just got easier with the launch of the new and improved Findlay Market Shopping app.

Customers can purchase items from more than 25 merchants in the market, choosing to take orders or deliver (available for zip codes 45202, 45203, 45204, 45205, 45206, 45207, 45208, 45209, 45211, 45212, 45214, 45217, 45219, 45220, 45223 , 45224, 45225, 45229, 45232, 45233, 45237, 45238, 45277, 45280, 41011, 41016, 41071 and 41073).

The shopping app fulfillment center is located in the old storefront of Pho Lang Thang. The grand opening ceremony will take place at 11 am. July 12. The first 100 customers who place an order using the app will receive a Findlay Market shopping bag.

Marketplace initially launched a beta version of the shopping app in 2020 to allow customers to continue shopping during COVID, but its use was discontinued in 2021.

The upgraded Findlay Market Shopping app has “entirely new features and a much better user experience” for each version, including merchant stories, wish list functionality, and the ability to use SNAP features.

The market highlights its commitment to equitable access to food in the press release, saying that it is “excited to provide an innovative online shopping platform that supports our local small business-driven economy, while creating positive social impact by reaching everyone, one new grocery order at a time.”

Orders placed on the application are executed from Tuesday to Friday, with market pickup or delivery available from 4 to 7 pm, orders must be placed at least the evening before the requested execution.
