Celebrity chef gives healthy cooking demonstrations to IE residents

Rancho Cucamonga, California.And the July 15 2022 /PRNewswire/ – In partnership with the Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), celebrity chef Mario Crisera brings healthy cooking to Inland Empire (IE) by showing members and community residents how to cook delicious traditional meals with a healthy and spicy twist at the Health Plan’s Victorville Community Resource Center .

Chef Mario, a 2018 Latin MasterChef arbitrator, is a native of Boyle Heights with experience in elevating the culinary experience of residents in and around Angels region. Chef Mario’s presentations highlight cooking with new and familiar ingredients proven to treat common health issues in the region, including diabetes and high blood pressure.

“Eating healthy doesn’t have to mean bland or boring, and Chef Mario knows how to make that possible,” said the IEHP’s Director of Community Health. Chef Mario’s Cooking Shows are open to the community and take place in July every Tuesday 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Lessons will be in August every Thursday from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM in the sick fund Victorville The Centre, located at 12353 Mariposa Road, Suites C-2 & C-3. The IEHP also plans to record demonstrations for public use in the coming months.
